The History of Smokey Mountain Funding
Ted Prichard established Smokey Mountain Funding in 1990. Ted, an entrepreneur with 30 years Agribusiness and leasing experience, is a Certified Leasing Professional who comes from a farming family and has owned and operated several successful agribusinesses. He brings a solid Agriculture and Financial background to the company. SMF is headquartered in Hendersonville, NC with sales offices in SC, GA, LA, ID, PA, & NY. SMF's sales staff was carefully chosen to complement the company's focus on the Agriculture Industry. Supporting the sales staff is a crew dedicated to servicing our customers, large or small, with the respect and courtesy they deserve.

Smokey Mountain Funding's company goal is to continue its 20% growth rate by offering quality programs tailored to the needs of America's dairymen. To serve our dairymen more efficiently, SMF is currently undergoing the largest expansion in the company's 10-year history, adding both sales & clerical staff, and upgrading its extensive computer systems for performance and Y2K compliance.
